Thank you for this opportunity to explain my role in challenging the gaps and absences in procedural aspect of our governance model. This came from researching and writing several letters on a complex estate matter. What qualifies you to be on Chief and Council?          I am driven and motivated by the people and our future generations. I look forward to working together with the other 15 councillors to bring about positive change. I demonstrate positive and fair leadership characteristics and I live by the saying “Be the change you want to see.” I believe effective leadership is based on being a positive role-model, leading by example and taking action. I believe it is important to stay true to myself, treat other’s with kindness and compassion and the power of team work by collectively working together with member’s at the council table and our membership. However what qualifies me to be on council is my passion to be actively involved in the community and the work I am doing to address mental health and wellness. Questions for Potential Band Manager (Currently Serving on Council) 1.  What makes you qualified to be Band Manager? I am prepared to listen to the Members concerns and help them to the best of my ability. Before I was first elected to Council I was already doing community advocacy with some members and outside of our Nation. I am a people person and my former boss said I was great at networking and public relation which I believe are a few of the necessary skills to have as a Band Manager. 2.  After reading the terms of reference for Band Manager, do you agree to what it contains?
